Job DescriptionAs a Labourer, you’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations and general maintenance of our site. You’ll work alongside the wider team to help keep the site running safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while meeting daily and contractual requirements.
- Undertake a range of labouring duties, including loading, unloading, collecting and sorting waste.
- Maintain a high standard of general housekeeping across the site, as directed and required.
- Complete all records, reporting and paperwork accurately and on time.
- Prepare and operate plant and equipment in accordance with company procedures, while providing assistance and support to other team members as required.
- Carry out daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment, including assisting with cleaning and general upkeep.
- Maintain a professional image of the company and consistently deliver a high standard of service.
- Experience in the waste industry is desirable.
- A full Class 1 driver's licence with Wheels, Tracks and Rollers (WTR) endorsement is desirable.
- Ability to work independently while also being a supportive and reliable team member.
- Ability to multitask and work across a variety of areas as required.
- Physically fit and able to undertake a range of labouring duties.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
