- Moving equipment in and out of the shop
- Aid mechanics with the removal and installation of guards
- Oil sampling, lube and oil changes
- Washing and detailing of equipment
- Assisting field and shop mechanics as required
- General clean up of shop, yard, field sites, parts and machines
- Other General Duties as required
Qualifications:
- Completion of grade 12 and be mechanically inclined
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Valid Driver's license with a successful recent driver abstract
- Self-starter able to follow directions, assist and work under the direction of a J/Field Serviceperson and possess the motivation necessary to contribute positively to a safe team environment
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work under minimal supervision
- Experience working within a heavy equipment maintenance environment, basic equipment knowledge, along with preventative maintenance experience would be considered assets
Note:
- This position is on a 7x7 shift rotation based at our Mildred Lake facility
- Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement
- Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement
