The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the booking-in and reporting administration processes for product testing. This includes booking in test submissions in line with current procedures, supporting the evolving automation phases, and carrying out some contract reviews.  You’ll create and issue test reports to the product teams, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely completion, while checking reports prepared by others and tracking pricing within agreed timeframes. The role also involves managing sub-contracted external submissions, performing various administrative duties, and providing technical support using your knowledge of textiles. You’ll engage closely with product teams to build effective working relationships and contribute to the smooth running of the laboratory by supporting testing areas as needed. Overall, you’ll play a key part in delivering a first-class service and helping to drive improvements through automation and process efficiency.

We’re looking for someone with strong time management skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure to meet our service delivery targets. The ideal candidate will be friendly, positive, and self-motivated, with a consistent and professional attitude. 
You’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the laboratory, assisting across all areas as needed while helping to drive the team forward. You will have excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail are essential, along with accuracy when booking in samples, typing reports, and working with internal specifications.
