Summary 

The Labeling & New Product Development (“Labeling & NPD”) Coordinator will be an active member of the Regulatory Affairs group within the Legal Department and will be responsible for assisting with regulatory compliance matters pertaining to alcohol beverage industry practices. The Labeling & NPD Coordinator will assist in the administration of product development, labeling, and formulation activities for Constellation Brands Inc.  (“Constellation”) to ensure all products and packaging are created & maintained in compliance with federal and state law.

Responsibilities

  • Assist labeling team with project work for New Product Development and Operations-Led projects including label review, Certificate of Label Approval (“COLA”) applications, formula filings, and any additional project-related tasks.
  • Attend and take an active role in team and project meetings. Prepare post meeting recaps with action items.
  • Submit all State/local fictious business name filings and renewals and maintain trade name database for organization.
  • Monitor team project pipeline and send weekly recap with major upcoming deadlines.
  • Maintain internal databases for COLAs and Formulas, ensuring approved materials are properly archived and renewed, where applicable.
  • Assist with routine internal label review process.
  • Support administrative and internal processes related to project work, research, and industry trends.
  • Manage team access to agency sites.
  • Assist with coordinating cross-functional review of packaging including scheduling, document assembly and compiling notes for submission to business partners.
  • Create and maintain team resources
  • Special projects, as assigned.

Qualifications

  • BA degree or other education with 1-2 years related experience preferred.
  • Alcohol beverage labeling and compliance experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships.
  • Hold very strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize a high volume of projects and related tasks.
  • Must be highly detailed-oriented and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of matters.
  • High level of professionalism.

The salary range for this role is:

$24.51 - $35.27

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
