Label Control

As the Label Control, you will provide support to our managers and employees. This position will work with the Warehouse Management System to ensure labels are generated with the correct information.

What You Will Do: 

• Maintain and update Excel Spreadsheets as necessary.
• Responsible for operating within our warehouse management system to print and prioritize labels for the order selectors.
• Generate labels for value added services, such as sku changes.
• Cross reference order information to ensure that labels are correct with required information and customer formats.
• Inspect labels to make sure they are scannable and not duplicated.                                                                                       
• Track orders that have priority and/or reworks attached to them.                                                                                          
• Manage inventory and supplies (including printers). 
• Distribute and track radios, scanners, and orders that are  given to associates. 
• Proficiently operate label printers, scanners, and affiliated software.
• Performing all clerical tasks as necessary (such as scanning or printing).
• Interact cross departmentally with all departments throughout the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

What We Are Looking For: 

• High School Diploma or GED
• 0-3 years of warehouse experience
• 0-3 years of administrative experience
• Able to multitask, organize, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and time-sensitive environment
• Can easily adapt to shifting priorities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Understanding of compliance and safety
• Fluent reading and writing skills
• Quality conscious
• Knowledge of office management systems and standard operating procedures
• Versatile and flexible
• Effective problem solver
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office & G-Suite
• Ability to deal effectively with diverse individuals at all organizational levels in a professional manner

Working Conditions

• Environment: Warehouse  
• Extreme Exposures: Works in areas requiring exposure to varying temperatures, extreme heat or cold and damp or drafty conditions
• Schedule: Variable schedule; including nights and weekends – occasional overtime may be required
• Physical Requirements:
  • Medium; Lifting up to 25 lbs
  • Regularly required to reach with hands and arms, above and below the shoulders
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Frequently grasps, turns, manipulate objects of varying size and weight that require fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Can visually verify information
• Travel Required: Yes – Limited; will be required to travel between multiple worksites based on volume and business needs

What we offer: 

The hourly range for this position is $17.22 - 19.80 per hour. The base hourly rate may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for the annual performance incentive may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, so the salary range may not apply to other states.
