Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is hiring for a Lab Tech to test, analyze, and make recommendations for products at our Sergeant Bluff facility. Responsibilities will include performing lab analyses and reporting results, and maintaining the lab’s supply inventory.
Responsibilities:
Safely perform accurate lab analyses on product samples
Record test results in laboratory database
Effectively report the results in a timely manner
Maintenance of lab equipment
Requirements:
At least 18 years of age or older
Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
Position requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Computer skills such as Microsoft Word Suite
Lab experience preferred (testing techniques, equipment and procedures)
Knowledge of agricultural production/ manufacturing a plus
Physical labor (lifting, bending, climbing stairs, etc.)

Ag Processing Inc a cooperative (AGP®) is a farmer-owned cooperative engaged in the procurement, processing, marketing, and transportation of grains and grain products.
Since its formation in 1983, AGP has been committed to the success of its owners. Today, that is over 150 member cooperatives representing over 200,000 farmers throughout the United States.
AGP operates ten soybean processing plants including six plants in Iowa, located at Eagle Grove, Emmetsburg, Manning, Mason City, Sergeant Bluff, and Sheldon.
