We are seeking a Lab Support Lead Engineer (Individual Contributor) to own the setup, operation, and technical readiness of our R&D engineering labs supporting both hardware development and software validation environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure lab readiness across power, networking, RF environments, rack infrastructure, instrumentation, and ESD-safe workspaces
  • Support prototype board bring-up, debugging, soldering, component replacement, and board rework during hardware development cycles
  • Configure and maintain lab instrumentation including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, and cellular call boxes (e.g., Amarisoft, Keysight, Anritsu)
  • Support software validation labs including performance testing environments, device farms, automation test systems, and CI validation infrastructure
  • Manage Linux systems, networking connectivity, and test servers used in automated validation environments
  • Design and deploy scalable testbeds used for system integration, performance validation, and regression testing
  • Own procurement and lifecycle management of lab equipment, development boards, instrumentation, servers, and networking hardware, including inventory tracking and calibration management

Qualifications
  • 12+ years of hands-on experience supporting R&D labs in semiconductor, networking, wireless, or embedded systems environments
  • Strong experience supporting prototype hardware bring-up, board debugging, soldering, and rework
  • Hands-on experience with RF and system test equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, and cellular call boxes (e.g., Amarisoft, Keysight, Anritsu)
  • Experience managing lab infrastructure including power systems, networking, rack environments, and engineering instrumentation
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux systems, networking infrastructure, and engineering test environments
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and support multiple engineering teams in fast-paced development environments
  • Diploma in Electronics / Electrical Engineering, ITI certification in Electronics or related technical trade, or equivalent technical qualification
