Backed by some of the world's leading venture capital investors, we are on an ambitious mission to integrate and simplify every function of the dental practice through technology. By building the operating system for every dental office in America, Dandy is empowering dentists with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practice, their people, and their patients.

About the Role

Dandy is hiring a Lab Operations Sr Analyst to join our rapidly growing venture-backed company. This role combines data analysis expertise with a quality-driven mindset to maintain and improve key performance metrics, such as On-Time Ship and quality performance, while driving process improvements. Experience in the dental industry is a plus, but a strong background in data and a proactive, solution-oriented approach are essential.

What You'll Do

  • Optimize Billing Processes: Construct and refine workflows that enhance the billing reconciliation process as well as support the airbase files creation

  • 3PL OTS and Quality Tracking: Maintain weekly reporting on OTS metrics for labs, analyze performance trends, and collaborate with partners to address late orders and improve metrics.

  • Data-Driven Quality Improvements: Use existing data to identify patterns in refab cases and drive actionable solutions to reduce remakes and improve quality.

  • Monthly Reconciliation: Partner with labs on monthly reconciliation to ensure invoicing accuracy.

  • Streamline Workflows: Consolidate and improve tools and workflows to enhance efficiency across quality and billing operations.

  • Collaborate on Data Analysis: Transition manual processes into automated, scalable, and data-supported approaches.

  • Quality Process Improvements: Partner with labs to implement quality improvement initiatives based on order reviews and data insights, ensuring sustained performance improvements.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field

  • 2–3 years of relevant work experience in data analysis, operations, or a related field

  • Strong data analysis skills, with demonstrated experience solving problems using data.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with internal teams and external labs.

Bonus Points For

  • Knowledge or experience in the dental industry.

  • Experience with quality improvement processes or metrics tracking

  • A passion for optimizing operational processes and driving measurable results.

For full time positions, we offer a wide range of best in class, comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits including healthcare, dental, parental planning, mental health benefits, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
