ARSIEM is looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) experience to design, implement, and test cloud-based infrastructure and services, with a focus on Red Hat-based systems across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. This position will support one of our Government clients in Arlington, VA.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and test scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using Red Hat technologies.
- Implement and test IaaS/PaaS solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Automate provisioning and configuration using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Red Hat Satellite
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with security standards and policies.
- Applying advanced analytical skills and technical resources at the tactical levels and implementing infrastructure solutions supporting command decision making and execution of mission requirements.
- Automate infrastructure tasks using Ansible, Terraform, or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
- Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment in the lab environment.
- Stay up-to-date with OpenShift and Kubernetes advancements, providing recommendations for improvements.
- Examine and identify opportunities for improving existing procedures, with the customer's approval.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, or related degree, or HS Diploma, and 7+ years of lab management or systems administration experience.
- 6+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Linux Systems Engineer, or similar role.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD
- Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) administration
- Understanding of networking and security best practices in cloud environments
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Desired Certifications: DoD 8140.01 IAT Level II
Clearance Requirement: Must have an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability.

The bonus for this position is $3,500, and the referrer is eligible to receive the sum for any applicant we place within 12 months of referral.
