All About The Role (Brief introduction of the role)
You will be based in our offices in Hangzhou and you will be part of APAC Hobs& Hoods Development Lab Food Preparation.
You will be Responsible for ensuring testing of key functionality and safety, compliance with technical standards (internal/external) and providing improvement proposals.
What You’ll Do (Main responsibilities)
• Create Test plan, Test Manual and Test reports, executes lab activities, interprets and follows up on test results.
• Validate specifications and ensure testing as required on:
- Thermal and electrical safety according to internal/ external standards
- Energy consumption
- Noise
- Feature performance( airflow, noise, absorption, odour reduction, illumination test, standby test;)
- Environmental impact
- Components/ product reliability/ Lifetime
- Component performance
- Materials (e.g., surface cleanability…)
- Transportation
• Ensure compliance with standards (internal CSS and international IEC/EN/UL) of our products
• Support Platform or technology teams & Product Care in relevant testing, validation, provide improvement proposals to Platforms or Technology development
• Design and develop test equipment Ensure proper maintenance of testing equipment according to ISO9001, ISO17025
Qualification:
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering /Thermodynamics/ or similar
- Knowledge of authority approval to: IEC60335-1, IEC60335-2-31, IEC61591, GBT 17713, standards and environmental rules
- Ability to apply own detailed understanding of typical testing methodologies (DoE, statistical methodologies) to the evaluation process
- Relevant experience working with electric / electronic systems available for laboratory purpose, having testing experience of induction hob/radiant hob is preferred
- Experience in range hoods testing is preferred
- Required languages: Fluent English written and spoken
Core Competencies:
Testing experience in home appliances of induction hob and range hoods is preferred;
familiar with internal standard of IEC60335-1, IEC60335-2-31, IEC61591, GBT 17713, is preferred.

Skills Required
