Position Summary:
The Graphic Designer will conceptualize and execute creative graphic design concepts for communication, in both print and digital formats for the LA Galaxy and Dignity Health Sports Park. Support digital, social media and video teams with visual communication through the build out of creative assets. Grow and evolve brand and brand relevance of the LA Galaxy and Dignity Health Sports Park.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with logo design, digital/social graphics, stadium videoboard graphics, print ads, out of home ads and retail merchandise
- Design advertisements, print materials, still digital imaging, web graphics, marketing campaigns, and sales promotions that reach and retain fans through the use of visual assets, video and interactive experiences per strategy set by the Head of Creative and Brand.
- Serve as the daily point-of-contact for Dignity Health Sports Park graphic design needs by interacting directly with Dignity Health Sports Park employees and project managing and designing their graphic requests.
- Execute game day digital strategy for both home and away matches by designing of in-game graphics for use on web and social media.
- Collaborate with Head of Creative and Brand with strategizing and developing methods to increase fan engagement and brand awareness in all digital platforms.
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Graphic Design or related field
- 3+ years of related work experience in Graphic Design
- Ability to create compelling visual communication for print and digital platforms
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong knowledge of print, web and social media best practices
- Proactive and able to work well under pressure
- Detail oriented with strong follow-up skills
- Ability to successfully manage several projects at once, prioritize assignments, manage expectations of internal customers and be extremely organized
- Willing to think differently to accomplish greater results
- Team player with professional demeanor demonstrating responsibility, initiative and dependability, all with a positive attitude
- Flexible and adapts to various environments and situations
- High ethical standards and strong sense of confidentiality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, on numerous weekends, and on various holidays, due to the nature of professional sports
- Knowledge of soccer and specifically MLS and Los Angeles
- Sports or Agency experience preferred
- Knowledge of the Spanish Language Preferred
Pay Scale: $69,000- $84,337
