🧑🏻‍💻 About the role

First things first: you want to know what you’re actually applying for. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distil it down to a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:

As a KYC Analyst, you will be based in Prague and report to the Customer Due Diligence Operations Manager. The KYC team sits under the Finance and Operations department and are responsible for completing customers risk assessments and due diligence of new and existing customers who want to use products and services provided by Mews.

✅ Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

  • Ensuring timely and accurate collection of KYC documentation for customer due diligence in a variety of jurisdictions
  • Performing customer due diligence and risk assessment of new and existing Mews customers, including screening
  • Escalation of complex KYC cases and issues to senior colleagues or Manager
  • Identifying opportunities for improving internal KYC processes and communicating these in meeting forums
  • Support ad-hoc projects within the department and wider business as required
  • Other ad hoc analytics and tasks where required

🤝️ You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:

  • Fluent English and French
  • Minimum a high school diploma (OR Higher Education preferably in finance, banking, law)
  • At least 1 year of working experience with KYC/AML/CDD processes
  • Computer literacy and high ability to perform research of available resources
  • Confident communicator (including clear and concise written and verbal skills)
  • Organized and diligent with ability to apply critical thinking
  • Ability to work to deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize and re-prioritize workload as needed
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision, whilst also being able to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders including team members
