Job Summary
The Knowledge Sharing Specialist is responsible for fostering a culture of knowledge sharing within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to capture, organize, and disseminate industry-specific knowledge to enhance business operations, improve decision-making processes, and increase overall productivity. The Specialist will work closely with Leadership and various departments (operations, engineering, safety, etc.) to ensure that valuable insights and information are obtained, accessible, and utilized effectively. Additionally responsible to facilitate and support best practices/benchmarking request activities and the collaboration with peer-to-peer learning opportunities and industry groups/partners. Produce regular communications and summaries of activities and performance for various stakeholders.
Essential Functions
- Develop and implement comprehensive knowledge management strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Identify key knowledge areas and create processes for capturing and sharing this information.
- Create, curate, and manage a centralized knowledge repository, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
- Develop and maintain knowledge-sharing platform and management system.
- Organize and facilitate knowledge-sharing events, including site visits, and training sessions.
- Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct regular audits of knowledge repositories and actions to ensure data relevance and applicability.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge management efforts and make necessary adjustments.
- Establish regular communications and summaries of learning activities/opportunities and performance.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement using technological tools.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in knowledge management.
- Collaborate with various departments to identify and address knowledge gaps.
- Facilitate industry knowledge sharing process requests to engage in peer-to-peer learning opportunities.
- Provide support to staff in the use of knowledge management tools and systems.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with business units to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Interaction with Industry associations ie; AGA, EEI
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related fields of Communications, Business Administration, etc.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability and confidence to lead and manage up and across the organization.
- Strong analytical and project management abilities.
- Ability to facilitate meetings / tables and achieve group consensus
- Effective project management skills and ability to drive execution
- Creating, maintaining and enhancing critical internal/external stakeholder relationships
- Ability to manage multiple projects and team participation at various states concurrently ensuring timely delivery and desired outcomes
- Analytical / critical thinking with proven business acumen
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex information in a clear and concise manner. Ability to create engaging and informative content for various audiences.
- Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of knowledge management projects. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

Salary Range:
$77,400.00 - $116,200.00
