About LJC
LJC Design & Engineering is a full-service architecture, engineering, and design firm committed to enhancing the quality of the human experience through integrated design. We are a team of high-energy professionals who share a passion for design, a collaborative approach, and a casual culture. We solve challenges by leveraging the collective expertise and ingenuity of the best and brightest minds across development, design, and construction.
The Role We Want You For
As the Knowledge Manager – Data & Marketing, you will be the keeper of LJC's marketing knowledge: the project data, employee resumes, images, and reusable content that power every proposal, presentation, and website update. You will be vital to the marketing team, working directly with project managers, market leaders, and pursuit teams to capture the story of each project from first contract through final photography, and to make sure that content is accurate, current, and easy to find.
In this position, you will own LJC's marketing data systems, including Deltek Vantagepoint, OpenAsset, and Asana, and support the marketing side of the firm's Go/No-Go process. The Marketing team is collaborative with colleagues and will work across LJC disciplines and parent company Clayco's construction and real estate arms on projects that are vertically integrated in the enterprise.
The Specifics of the Role
- Manages LJC's project data in Deltek Vantagepoint, including contracts, project details, partner firms, narratives, and resume blurbs, and coordinates with Clayco on integrated projects tracked in Unanet.
- Gathers project information from contracts and project teams using the Project Data & Storytelling Questionnaire, and follows up with project managers through project closeout.
- Produces core marketing content for each project, including InDesign project pages, project narratives, and resume blurbs.
- Builds and maintains LJC employee resumes in InDesign and turns around pursuit-specific resumes on short deadlines.
- Manages LJC images and graphics in OpenAsset, including uploading, tagging, ranking, access levels, image rights, and license administration, and keeps the Deltek–OpenAsset connection working with IT and vendor support.
- Tracks project data, new hire, offboarding, and pursuit work in Asana, and keeps portfolios and project records current.
- Supports the Go/No-Go process by keeping pursuit records accurate in Asana and helping move the process into the Dynamics CRM.
- Reviews submitted proposals, qualifications, and interviews to capture new narratives, graphics, and data for future use.
- Supplies the digital marketing team with content and approvals for the website, social media, and the Plum Line internal newsletter, and shares project updates with the wider marketing team.
- Manages the marketing side of new hires and departures, including resumes, headshots, education and licenses, and newsletter announcements.
- Works with Deltek consultants and internal administrators on reports, new fields, and process improvements.
- Maintains LJC brand and data standards across all marketing systems.
