Freshfields is looking for a Knowledge & Information Services Assistant to join our global team, supporting cutting-edge sustainability initiatives and enabling our lawyers to deliver exceptional client service.

What You’ll Do
In this dynamic role, you will:

• Curate and maintain sustainability knowledge collections and provide current awareness updates.

• Conduct legal research and draft content for internal and external audiences.

• Support the development of ESG legal tech tools with the Freshfields Lab.

• Assist with training resources and deliver insights for clients and colleagues.

• Collaborate on knowledge management projects and provide resource guidance.

What You’ll Bring
Essential:

• A law degree (or equivalent) and strong commercial awareness, with enthusiasm for sustainability.

• Excellent organisational, research, and communication skills.

• IT proficiency with a keen interest in legal tech tools and innovations.

• Self-motivation and the ability to balance long-term projects with daily tasks.

Desirable:

• Additional qualifications (e.g., LPC, Bar exam) or business proficiency in German.

• Experience with SharePoint, content management, or knowledge databases (training provided).
