Taboola is looking for a dedicated, data-driven Training and knowledge specialist with a passion for digital media to optimize ad quality review processes and serve as a valuable resource/point of contact for all things knowledge related! The training and knowledge specialist will be responsible for the onboarding process and material, on-going developing and accuracy of Taboola’s content reviewers skills, knowledge and policy familiarity levels. The role includes creating and managing policy articles, creating training for content moderation teams and alignment with advertisers, evaluation of knowledge assimilation and preserving the content moderation team organizational knowledge.
What are some of the things you do on a day-to-day basis?:
- Design and create tailored training processes and curriculum for different positions and expertise within the content moderation team, from onboarding stage to advanced training.
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of the knowledge management processes by creating a routine analytical observation of the usage as well as evaluate its impact in terms of the department benefits and KPIs.
- Introduce new innovative knowledge transfer mechanisms focused on reviewers' increased engagement and agency
- Identify knowledge gaps and gather information from relevant stakeholders to create appropriate and accurate policy content
- Work closely with the policy setting team to obtain an in-depth understanding of the policy and the internal and external documentation required, as well as flagging unclear policies to be rewritten in order for them to be enforceable.
Write easy-to-understand (internal and external) users guides, content for short instructional videos, and recommend other innovative approaches to documentation
- Take ownership of the existing informations centers (Brain and Help Center) - building, creating and improving procedures and policy related content
- Communicate policy updates to internal and external focal points in accordance with strategic content moderation frameworks and partners.
- Direct responsibility for improving and maintaining the content moderation’s consistency KPIs

What are the skills a good Training and knowledge specialist needs to have?
- Experienced with designing, developing, and implementing effective training programs and materials.
- Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and learning management systems (LMS).
- Ability to analyze data in order to create tailored training to address knowledge gaps, as well as to measure training effectiveness using metrics and data analysis tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively. Strong training abilities to guide and inspire teams.
- Experienced in managing projects ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Ability to build relationships, collaborate and work well in a team-oriented environment.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in planning, developing, and reviewing training materials.
- Able to learn and understand the ad tech industry and its Policies to develop proficiency in Taboola Policies.
- Proficiency with digital tools and technologies used in training and knowledge management.
