Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking a KM - Lead to work at Schriever SFB. A United States Citizenship and an active Top Secret/SCI DoD Security Clearance are required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the management and administration of processes and tools to support organizational knowledge management (KM).
  • Identify, document, and facilitate access to intellectual capital and information content across the enterprise.
  • Develop and implement strategies for data organization, knowledge sharing, and content lifecycle management.
  • Ensure that KM processes align with DoD cybersecurity, IT, and data management policies.
  • Support initiatives to improve collaboration, information retrieval, and knowledge dissemination across teams.
  • Utilize KM tools and platforms to enhance data accessibility, security, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in knowledge management principles, IT administration, and cybersecurity practices.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills to optimize content management and retrieval systems.
  • Experience working within DoD cybersecurity, IT, or data management environments.

Experience/Skills:

  • 10 years of experience in the management and administration of KM processes and tools for identifying, documenting, and accessing intellectual capital and information content.
  • OR
  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited or CAE-designated institution, fulfilling the educational requirement, with 5 years of relevant experience.

Education:

  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited or CAE-designated institution (if applicable).

Certifications:

Required (at least one):

  • Security+ (CompTIA Security+)
  • GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials)

Highly Preferred (at least one of the following):

  • FITSP-O (Federal IT Security Professional - Operator)
  • GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional)
  • CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner)
  • CCNP Security (Cisco Certified Network Professional - Security)
  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
  • SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)

Clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
  • Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).

Skills Required

  • Lead and manage KM processes and tools to identify, document, and provide access to intellectual capital and content
  • 10 years of experience in management and administration of KM processes and tools
  • OR Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited or CAE-designated institution plus 5 years relevant experience
  • Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) DoD security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a background check
  • At least one: CompTIA Security+ or GSEC
  • Expertise in knowledge management principles, IT administration, and cybersecurity practices
  • Experience working within DoD cybersecurity, IT, or data management environments
  • Highly preferred certifications (one of): FITSP-O, GICSP, CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, SSCP
