The Kitting Lead reports to the Kitting Supervisor and assists with executing the Supervisor’s daily plan, training and coaching associates, removing barriers that interfere with the team achieving their daily goals, synchronizing efforts within the department, solving problems related to inventory and kits, and corresponding with various partners. These responsibilities must always be accomplished by following safety guidelines and best practices. Compensation based on experience, $23+ per hour

• Training and cross-training of associates
• Assist with scheduling and assignments to ensure production goals are met
• Assist with documentation of attendance or other issues
• Partner with engineers, supply chain, and category management teams to resolve challenges
• Monitor andon lights and respond to associate needs appropriately
• Assist associates with troubleshooting programming issues and provide updated file changes when needed
• Provide team members with updated Bill of Materials and provide guidance when designing new work instructions
• Facilitate and monitor daily cycle counts, ensure they are processed and complete
• Ensure components are available for the team as necessary to complete their work
• Document metrics and capture department data in spreadsheets and in reports
• Follow all Marmon Link policies and procedures as outlined by the company and its leaders

• High school diploma or GED is preferred, equivalent work experience is accepted.
• Demonstrate use and understanding of an RF scanner.
• Must be willing to use a forklift, cherry picker and other essential warehouse equipment including hand tools as needed.
• Must have basic Computer Skills and the ability to use an online timekeeping system.
• Strong work ethics, enthusiastic, willing to work with others and contribute to the team atmosphere.
• Warehousing experience a plus
• Kitting experience a plus

Pay Range:

18.40 - 27.60
