Company Overview: Dedrone is the world’s most trusted smart airspace security company. Hundreds of commercial, government and defense customers around the world rely on Dedrone’s comprehensive, command and control (C2) solutions to protect against the persistent and escalating threat from drones while enabling “good” drones to fly. By leveraging AI/ML, Dedrone is the only solution that provides continuous, autonomous interrogation and verification of drones that enables both multi-sensor and multi-mitigation options onto a single fused "pane-of-glass". Whether on-premise / air-gapped or in the cloud, Dedrone customers can easily detect, track, identify, analyze, and mitigate drone threats.

As a Kinetic Kill Specialist focusing on drone airspace security, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of advanced counter-drone measures. Your primary responsibility will be to deploy kinetic kill systems to neutralize unauthorized drones that pose a threat to our clients' airspace.

You will...

  • Kinetic Kill System Operation: Operate and maintain kinetic kill systems designed to intercept and neutralize unauthorized drones swiftly and effectively.
  • Threat Assessment: Analyze and assess potential drone threats based on various parameters, including flight patterns, behavior, and payload capabilities.
  • Response Planning: Develop comprehensive response plans tailored to different threat scenarios, ensuring swift and decisive action to mitigate risks.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, security experts, and law enforcement agencies, to enhance the effectiveness of counter-drone measures.
  • Testing and Evaluation: Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of kinetic kill systems to ensure optimal performance under diverse environmental conditions and operational scenarios.
  • Training and Education: Provide training and guidance to security personnel on the proper use of kinetic kill systems and best practices for drone airspace security.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing drone operations and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.

You have...

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Prior experience in military, law enforcement, or security operations, with a focus on drone airspace security.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining kinetic kill systems or similar counter-drone technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and respond to dynamic threats in real-time.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and make sound decisions under challenging circumstances.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to drone operations and airspace security.
