Kia of Fairfield is seeking a motivated, experienced, and results-driven Sales Manager to join our growing dealership team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and developing the sales team, driving vehicle sales and profitability, maintaining an exceptional customer experience, and ensuring the dealership consistently meets or exceeds its sales and performance objectives.
The ideal candidate is an energetic automotive professional with strong leadership skills, a proven track record of sales success, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to building a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities-
Lead, coach, motivate, and develop the dealership sales team.

Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales objectives and monitor performance against those goals.

Work closely with sales consultants to structure and close vehicle deals.

Maintain strong gross profit while maximizing unit sales and customer satisfaction.

Assist sales consultants with negotiations, objections, and difficult customer situations.

Monitor and manage sales leads, follow-up activity, appointments, and showroom traffic.

Ensure all customer interactions reflect Kia of Fairfield's commitment to professionalism and exceptional service.

Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.

Recruit, interview, onboard, and develop sales personnel as needed.

Work closely with the Finance & Insurance department to ensure a smooth and profitable sales process.

Monitor inventory levels, vehicle availability, pricing, and market conditions.

Maintain accurate CRM activity and ensure sales processes are consistently followed.

Analyze sales reports, KPIs, closing ratios, gross profit, appointment activity, and other performance metrics.

Help maintain an organized, professional, and customer-friendly showroom environment.

Ensure dealership policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations are followed.

Build strong relationships with customers and encourage repeat and referral business.

Assist management with advertising, promotions, sales events, and other dealership initiatives.

Lead by example and maintain a positive, professional, and accountable dealership culture.

Previous automotive sales or automotive management experience preferred.

Proven success in automotive sales, preferably in a Sales Manager or Assistant Sales Manager role.

Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Ability to coach and motivate a diverse sales team.

Strong understanding of dealership sales processes and automotive retail operations.

Comfortable working with CRM and dealership management systems.

Ability to work a flexible dealership schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
