About the role
As a Key Account Manager at Solenis, you will drive growth by managing strategic customer relationships, expanding account value, and delivering tailored chemical solutions within the pulp and paper sector. You’ll act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, identify new business opportunities, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure customer satisfaction while achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
Manage and grow a portfolio of Solenis products in in Pulp & Paper industry.
Build long-term relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders.
Act as the primary point of contact for customer needs and issues.
Sales & Business Development
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets.
Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and new markets.
Customer Support
Ensure timely delivery of chemical solutions tailored to customer requirements.
Resolve client complaints and provide technical support.
Conduct regular account reviews and performance updates.
Market Intelligence
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer developments.
Provide feedback to R&D and product development teams to enhance offerings.
Internal Collaboration
Work closely with supply chain, production, and quality assurance teams.
Support marketing campaigns targeting the pulp & paper industry.
Reporting
Prepare sales forecasts, account plans, and performance reports.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Technology, or Business; Master’s degree in Business is an advantage.
Minimum 4+ years of experience in the chemical industry, preferably in pulp & paper, in sales or relevant roles requiring:
Proactiveness and self-drive
Troubleshooting and analytical thinking
Outgoing personality and motivation
English fluency (verbal and written) is mandatory; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
Willingness to travel and engage directly with customer operations.
Flexible to relocate if required by the business.
