This is your opportunity for a proactive and energetic Key Account Manager to join our Corporate Industry and Leisure (CIL) team. Put simply, our CIL team look after “anything that isn’t cars” – bikes, boats, caravans, finance, insurance, aftersales and whatever else comes to mind.

What you’ll do
The Key Account Manager will drive business growth across CIL by building and deepening strategic relationships with OEMs, dealer clients, and aligned businesses, focusing on revenue generation through business development, pipeline management, and account expansion. Acting as a trusted advisor, the role delivers tailored solutions and thought leadership to maximize client ROI, product adoption, and long-term partnership value across the carsales ecosystem.
- Serve as the Key Account Lead and main point of contact for the client, ensuring service consistency, streamlined communication, and a unified relationship channel.
- Drive Account Growth and Strategy by recognizing high-level growth opportunities, securing media/promotional collaborations, maintaining SaaS commitments, and leading contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing discussions.
- Cultivate Multi-Tier Key Stakeholder Relationships using a dedicated customer relationship matrix and acting as the "Voice of the Customer" to internally champion feedback and influence platform innovation or service enhancements.
- Manage Customer Performance and Reporting by creating and delivering ROI, market trend, and performance reports to key stakeholders, while also monitoring industry trends and competitive threats.
- Maximize Retention and Expansion by proactively identifying and assisting with renewals and upsell opportunities.
- Ensure Operational Excellence by meeting or exceeding assigned revenue/retention targets and sales KPIs, accurately managing the sales pipeline and forecasting in the CRM, and addressing dealer queries and training needs.
What we’re looking for?
- A proven track record in Enterprise/Key Account Management, strategic sales, or business development, specifically managing large-scale clients.
- Sales & Commercial Acumen: Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed growth and revenue targets, coupled with strong commercial acumen and contract negotiation skills.
- Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to build, sustain, and influence trusted relationships with senior (C-level or equivalent) stakeholders and executives.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for pipeline management and proficiency in data analysis/reporting tools.
- Exceptional Relationship Management: Proven ability to build, nurture, and sustain multi-tier relationships with key clients and key stakeholders, complemented by superior interpersonal communication.
- Strategic Acumen and Influencing Skills: Ability to identify, develop, and drive high-level growth opportunities, coupled with strong presentation and negotiation skills to influence outcomes at both head office and dealer levels.
