Job Description
You will form part of RMM within the Mass Foundation Cluster which is one of the largest customer-facing business segments in Old Mutual. Our target market is the low and emerging-middle income segment.The Key Account Manager role executes the Mass and Foundation Cluster Strategy by Go to Market Strategy Development and Market Reach Growth, with a specific focus on service delivery to the Foundation Market Retail and Retail Mass Market Worksite Distribution channels by growing worksites and stop order opportunities.
Key Account Management
Maintain and enhance growth and profitability of Strategic Accounts through collaborating and championing the delivery of the Old Mutual value proposition with specific focus on increasing financial inclusivity in the mass market and shared value creation for key strategic accounts.
Drive the achievement of new and existing business profitability and growth targets by ensuring that services and solutions provided to MFC Strategic Key Accounts exceeds defined service level agreements across the key support department.
Execute customer centric strategies to continuously improve process, product and systems to address changing service requirements that enhance the FMR partnership experience.
Manage campaigns and interventions in line with opportunities, available resources, product scope and best practices while ensuring Return on Investment realisation.
Actively manage and report on the achievement of Key Account Portfolio targets as well as industry performance and trends.
Identify and drive opportunities to improve and expand product and service offerings.
Deliver new business opportunities in the private sector market in support of the MFC strategy.
Collaboration
Manage relationships with MFC Distribution Channel provincial leaders to make it easier for new relationships to take shape and efficiently unlock access to shared value both within the business and for our external partners.
Monitor and resolve escalated partnership queries and complaints timeously.
Contribute to the streamlining and integration of new business processes and systems.
Create collaborative relationships with other departments to determine internal and external process improvements designed to enhance the customer experience and create easy, value peace of mind.
Optimise departmental performance through targeted business intelligence to ensure that it becomes the primary way of driving performance and execution.
Stakeholder Management
Maintain a customer led approach to stakeholder management.
Through use of a data and mutual value led stakeholder engagement approach, develop a portfolio stakeholder engagement plan, which enables growth for MFC and its key strategic key accounts.
Ensure a consistent, detailed understanding amongst all deal team members of the Market Management Portfolio targets, goals, performance levels, products, business rules and conditions.
Manage relationships and ensure that Service Level Agreement standards are met or exceeded in all internal and external stakeholder engagements.
Finance Management
Manage the allocated key account development, incentive and expense budget for the team against set targets.
Manage all costs, resource capacity planning and utilization to support the achievement of Key Account development targets, volumes, operational budgets and plans.
Ensure that risk is managed optimally within the technical framework particularly in risk acceptance and underwriting appetite.
Team and People Management
Lead the measurement, assessment and reporting on the performance of teams against targets and industry norms.
Translate strategy into relevant service standards and processes, setting, communicating and measuring the corresponding operational measures and targets.
Strategy Development
Co-Create key account growth strategies with both external and internal portfolio stakeholders with a focus on channel market reach and access enablement.
Influence and co-craft MFC Distribution provincial market management strategies by collaborating through the strategic relationship’s portfolio.
Increase Market Reach through Acquisition of strategic relationships in support of the MFC Distribution Strategies.
Through leveraging existing and establishing new strategic relationships, increase access to key growth through a multi-channel distribution portfolio.
Multi-Channel enabled Deal Making to establish new strategic sales and distribution relationships.
Requirements:
B.Com Marketing Management and Entrepreneurial Studies.
5 - 7 Year minimum Business Development and Key Accounts Management and Strategic partnership management.
