KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER BENELUX (f/m/d) DIY & GARDEN TOOLS
YOUR ROLE

- Your market, your responsibility: You’ll manage and grow our key customer base across the Benelux region, focusing on long-term, strategic partnerships.
- Drive growth: Develop and execute account plans, identify new business opportunities, and strengthen existing relationships.
- Sales & negotiation: Lead annual negotiations, manage listings and contracts, and coordinate pricing and trading terms.
- Analysis & planning: Use data and market insights to develop strategic initiatives and provide accurate forecasts and reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Trade Marketing, Finance, and your international sales colleagues to drive success.
- Travel: You’ll visit key customers across Benelux – travel requirements are moderate, around 20–30%.

WHAT YOU BRING
- Degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a similar field
– alternatively, a commercial background with strong sales experience - Minimum 5 years of experience in Key Account Management or strategic sales
- Industry knowledge in DIY, garden tools, or consumer goods preferred
- Solid understanding of the Benelux retail landscape and key players
- Strong analytical, strategic, and entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Excel, CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), and reporting tools
- Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus
- Driving license and willingness to travel occasionally within the region

- Verkoop & onderhandeling: je voert jaarlijkse onderhandelingen, beheert assortimenten en contracten en coördineert prijzen en voorwaarden.
- Analyse & planning: op basis van data en marktinzichten werk je aan strategische plannen en lever je heldere rapportages en forecasts.
- Samenwerking: je werkt nauw samen met trade marketing, finance en je internationale sales-collega’s.
- Reizen: je bezoekt klanten in de Benelux – het reispercentage bedraagt rond de 20–30%.

DIT BRENG JIJ MEE
- Opleiding in Bedrijfskunde, International Business of een vergelijkbaar vakgebied – of een commerciële achtergrond met stevige saleservaring
- Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in Key Account Management of strategische verkoop
- Kennis van de Doe Het Zelf- , tuin- of consumentenproductenbranche is een plus
- Goed inzicht in de retailmarkt en key accounts in de Benelux
- Sterke analytische, strategische en ondernemende instelling
- Uitstekende communicatie- en onderhandelingsvaardigheden
- Ervaring met Excel, CRM-systemen (zoals Salesforce) en rapportagetools
- Taalvaardigheden: vloeiend in Nederlands en Engels; Frans is een pre
- Rijbewijs en bereidheid om te reizen binnen de regio
