Roles and responsibilities:
Secure sales targets within assigned customers
- Responsible for optimization (drive growth) of the top line sales and bottom line profit at assigned customers. Hence, customer contribution
- Responsible for long and short term customer plans
- Responsible for optimizing the product portfolio in each category at customer, in cooperation with respective brand managers
- When category projects are done with key customers, KAM is the project leader together with Category Manager and work is done in cooperation with marketing
Promotions
- Plan promotions with customers in line with overall market plan
- Ensure that there will be stock available and full execution in store
- Follow up and measure effectiveness of promotions in promotion tool (ROI)
- Ensures that all activities are according to local legislation and in accordance with ethical guidelines and policies of Karo
Information
- Close co-operation with internal stakeholders to secure that customer needs are captured
- Day to day contact with customer
- Responsible for customer PnL’s and follow ups
- Sales responsibility and presentation in monthly sales meetings
- Ownership of promotion budget for specified key customers
- Manage the tracking of budget and suggest adjustments if needed
- Entrepreneurial mindset and can do attitude
- Result oriented and goal focused
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
- Business planning and financial analysis of business opportunities
- Experience from planning and implementing customer plans
- Knowledge of Pharmacy/Mass Market Data and their meaning
- Basic knowledge of Regulatory and Logistic timing and logics
- Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments
- Used to work in an international environment
- Used to work in English – both in presentations and in writing
