The Key Account Manager at Mondiale VGL is responsible for owning, developing, and growing strategic client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery, commercial performance, and long-term partnership value. The role combines deep freight forwarding and supply chain expertise, strong commercial acumen, and strategic relationship management to act as a trusted advisor to clients while protecting and enhancing Mondiale VGL’s commercial outcomes.

Acting as the daily interface between Mondiale VGL and the Customer, delivering a seamless and professional service that meets and exceeds the Customers’ expectations. Working closely with all departments internally, you will be responsible for ensuring that all KPI’s, targets and expectations advised by your customers are always met.

What you'll own:

• A portfolio of key accounts — driving retention, service excellence, and profitability
• Client relationships at every level, as the primary and trusted point of contact
• Proactive account leadership — regular reviews, sharp reporting, high-impact QBRs
• Market intelligence translated into real client strategy, not just updates
• Onboarding, SOPs, and continuous optimisation of client supply chains
• Financial performance at shipment and account level — margins that matter
• Escalations and exceptions — resolved with speed, ownership, and calm
• Cross-functional delivery — working closely with operations, sales, and global teams

What you’ll bring:

• 4+ years Proven experience in a Key Account Management or senior account role within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain
• Strong commercial acumen — comfortable owning margin, P&L impact, and account profitability
• The ability to build genuine, multi-level client trust — not just maintain contracts
• Confidence navigating global trade dynamics and translating them into client-ready strategy
• A collaborative, solutions-first mindset when things get complex (because in freight, they will)
