Key Accountabilities

  • Establish tactical direction to increase presence and hit rate for maximum profit in assigned accounts (Strategic Accounts)
  • To establish and maintain proactive relationships with strategic accounts(corporate), increasing our market share in those important channels, and identify marketing promotions that assure our sales growth. To be in strong contact with the Marketing and Service Area. To maintain the existing programs and take the lead in creating new programs.
  • Maximize Donaldson's presence in strategic accounts and increase brand exposure.   Establish the preference of end users for Donaldson Filtration Technologies and Solutions.
  • Drive profitable and sustainable growth through existing and new end users
  • Provide the support and tools to help lower the total cost of ownership and avoid pricing discussions as much as possible.
  • Build customer loyalty.
  • Align with TM on strategic account targets in respective areas of responsibility
  • Collect product and market intel to provide back to product mgmt. team

Key Qualifications & Requirements

Education Qualification:

  • Business Administration, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

Technical Competence & Skills:

  • Wide experience in sales
  • Knowledge of the mining, construction, and heavy-duty diesel engine market, or similar markets (structure, function, etc.)
  • Knowledge of global sales

Relevant Experience:

  • 5 years minimum sales experience required

Others (% of travel, language, etc.):

  • -Available to travel 60%
  • -Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • English Fluency
