What are we looking for?
The purpose of this role is to ensure business results and deploy the Royal Canin strategy among the Key Account and Pure Player partners.
The Key Account Manager is responsible for developing & implementing the strategies of approaching and engaging Key Account and Pure Player partners within the market, while protecting and representing Royal Canin’s best interests and growth objectives.
The Key Account Manager is responsible for nurturing partnership relations with existing customers and generating new business opportunities with new partners, for the purpose of achieving growth targets. Responsible for communicating and implementing the brand strategy in Key Account and Pure Player customers, with a strong cooperation with Scientific Communication & Marketing , Pet Specialty Retail and Pet Professionals
Key Responsibilities:
Manage customer relationship at the headquarters and store level
Propose strategy for each of the customers followed by clear execution plan and KPIs
Negotiate the annual trade terms contracts with customers
Propose & implement Joint Business Planning & joint Value Creation agenda
Propose and deploy yearly promotional activities together with Pet Specialty Retail Marketing
Set promotion event calendar for customers and control deployment
Ensure excellent execution of all agreed trade terms, promotions and marketing elements.
Drive additional activities on top of agreed ones, for the purpose of increasing sales and visibility.
Monitor Trade Terms implementation audits per points of sales.
Communicate promotional proposals or other proposals (assortment optimization, projects, etc.) to customers and follow-up on implementation.
Demand planning, forecasting stock, follow-up and evaluation of promotions (post-implementation ROI) - Support the Head of Pet Specialty Retail in various projects and proactively proposes new improvement projects. - Close collaboration with Key Accounts & E-commerce Customer Care to ensure accuracy of orders and deliveries. - Propose & align within Key Accounts & E-commerce Manager individual Account Development Plans for TOP 5 accounts.

Education & Professional Qualifications:
University degree
English language level: advanced
IT literate, including MS Office
Knowledge / Experience
Experience in Sales / Key Account Management (preferably FMCG): minimum 2 years
Thorough experience & understanding of Key Accounts environment
Good communication skills, multi-tasking, detail oriented, fast decision maker
High energy level, positive thinking, efficiency, and politeness
