We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Key Account Manager - Photo Specialist Channel who will be responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with the assigned Photo Specialist partners, driving sustainable business growth across Canon’s full product portfolio while delivering an enhanced partner experience.
The role focuses on managing and expanding existing business opportunities, ensuring the achievement of sales targets across Canon’s Imaging and Printing portfolio, and within B2C, B2P and B2B business segments.
The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking, and strategic planning capabilities to maximize partner performance, to identify new growth opportunities and to drive long-term business success through effective cross-functional coordination and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Results-driven: responsible for achieving sales targets for the assigned Partners and ensuring timely execution of all related business activities and follow-up actions.
- Full Account ownership: develop, implement and monitor strategic and tactical business plans, co-ordinating all relevant resources to enable achievement of business objectives for all the assigned Partners.
- Strong field presence: monthly visits of key assigned Partners to ensure affective market coverage, strong relationships and identification of new growth opportunities.
- Cross-functional collaboration: act as the primary business owner for the assigned partners, coordinating cross-functional teams and resources to drive sustainable long-term growth.
- Data-driven: monitor and analyse the partner inventory and sell out data to optimise montlhy business performances as well as create commercial opportunities at local level.
- Forecast management: own the forecasting process for assigned partners, providing accurate monthly sales forecasts, identifying any additional opportunities.
- Commercial Administration: ensure an accurate and timely management of partner commercial processes, including promotion claims, rebate payments and contractual agreements in coordination with internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Skills required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience, 5-6 years, in Sales or Business Development
- Fluency in English – written and verbal, any other major European language is an advantage
- Strong account management and relationship skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Results-driven mindset with a proven ability to overachieve sales targets
- Strong data-driven mindset to constantly identify in advance business opportunities
- Experience with Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, Powerpoint and PowerBI
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory
What we offer:
- Permanent Contract
- The position is classified at level 1 or Quadro of the National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) for employees of companies in the tertiary sector of distribution and services, CNEL code H011.
The gross annual salary for the role ranges between 43.000 and 55.000 euros.
The determination of the final starting salary within this range will be agreed upon taking into account the company’s organizational context, the provisions of the applicable CCNL, and objective, gender-neutral criteria such as: professional qualifications and experience, level of knowledge or skills held, as well as the scope and level of responsibility of the position offered.
Additional benefits and allowances may also be granted in accordance with applicable regulations, the relevant CCNL and the company policies and programs in force at the start date of employment.
