Position Summary:

The Vita Coco Company seeks an experienced Key Account Manager for its Non-Commercial division. This strategic role will manage and expand relationships with major foodservice management companies, focusing primarily on Aramark, Sodexo, and Compass Group across all business segments. Experience with micro-markets and vending is considered a plus.

Essential Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of direct experience working with Aramark, Sodexo, and Compass Group across various business segments, including education, healthcare, business and industry, sports and entertainment, and hospitality.

  • Bachelor's degree or at least 7 years of experience in a related field preferred.
  • 7-10 years of professional sales experience in the beverage or consumer packaged goods industry.
  • 1-3 years of Regional or Key Account Management experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key gatekeepers and decision-makers at Aramark, Sodexo, and Compass Group, focusing on their various business segments.
  • Implement account-specific strategies to drive growth at both account and product category levels.
  • Achieve predetermined account profitability and sales targets.
  • Conduct regular business performance reviews and optimize product placement.
  • Increase distribution and placement of Vita Coco brand items across Aramark, Sodexo, and Compass Group locations.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate relationships and execute promotions with Travel Segment Partners.
  • Collaborate with our cruise line management company to strengthen portfolio presence within Carnaval Cruise Lines.
  • Explore and develop additional cruise ship business opportunities.
  • Forecast, budget, and track account revenues and expenses.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop effective promotional strategies.

  • Proficiency in data analysis, forecast sales, and financial management.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel 30-50%
