Launched in Feb 2021, Ninja Mart is Ninja Van’s first FMCG-focused logistics unit. We connect brands with retailers in suburban and rural regions of Vietnam and Malaysia, unlocking endless possibilities for business expansion in this fast-growing region. 

As a pivotal member of our team, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for acquiring and growing key accounts ensuring that business goals are achieved through effective account management. This role will focus on driving sales growth, negotiating commercial terms, fostering strong relationships with buyers and executing marketing initiatives with major retail customers.

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and nurturing relationships with key retail partners, ensuring that business goals are achieved through effective account management. The primary goal is to ensure Ninja Mart’s presence and product offerings are well integrated within key modern trade accounts, helping to expand the company’s market share and
customer base across the region.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Develop and manage relationships with key retail accounts to maximize sales opportunities and strengthen partnerships.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for modern trade customers to achieve sales targets and business growth objectives. Ensure that each key account performs at its maximum potential.
  • Maintain proactive, high-touch relationships with buyers, category managers, and other stakeholders to drive continuous business development and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead negotiations on pricing, promotions, and terms with key accounts to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and adjust the approach as needed.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, logistics, and operations to ensure seamless execution of strategies and to address any issues related to customers.
  • Provide regular updates on account performance, sales progress, and market insights. Share timely feedback with department heads to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Coordinate and oversee promotional activities with customers, ensuring proper execution, tracking, and follow-up to maximize impact.
  • Any other related duties and responsibilities as the Company may from time to time properly assign to or confer upon you.

Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies, Marketing or a related field.
  • Proven experience in key account management or sales management, with a strong focus on modern trade
  • Demonstrated success in managing client relationships, driving growth, and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of retail dynamics, with a keen understanding of how to manage modern trade accounts, including pricing, promotions, and category management.
  • Experience in negotiating key contracts and deals with large retail chains.
  • Familiarity with go-to-market strategies and the ability to contribute to their successful execution.
  • Ability to navigate and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on exceeding performance metrics.
  • Continuous learning and adaptability to stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
  • Wiling to travel when required.
