About the Job

The Key Account Manager – Multiple Myeloma is a field-based role that combines deep scientific engagement with strategic account management. You will be responsible for growing your territory, helping shape the treatment landscape in Multiple Myeloma, and building Sanofi’s presence as a trusted, long-term partner within the oncology community.

To be successful, you will need strong disease knowledge, commercial instincts, and the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholder groups and internal functions.

Main Responsibilities

Commercial Performance & Business Leadership

  • Meet or exceed sales and performance objectives while managing territory resources responsibly.

  • Develop, execute, and continuously refine a data-driven territory business plan, incorporating market dynamics, customer insights, and brand strategy.

  • Identify risks and opportunities in a timely way and adjust your approach to protect and grow business results.

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to inform strategy and identify new growth opportunities.

Strategic Account Management

  • Build and maintain deep, value-based partnerships with Hematologic Oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, and key allied health professionals.

  • Serve as the primary commercial contact for Sanofi within your accounts and coordinate cross-functional support from Marketing, Medical, Patient Support, and other internal partners.

  • Understand account decision-making structures and adapt your engagement approach accordingly.

  • Support institutions and key accounts at all levels by guiding formulary and budget approval processes.

Scientific & Clinical Engagement

  • Conduct high-quality scientific exchange aligned with the Product Monograph and in accordance with Sanofi’s ethical and compliance standards.

  • Clearly articulate the clinical and patient value of Sanofi therapies within evolving Multiple Myeloma treatment paradigms.

  • Educate and train healthcare teams on the clinical benefits, administration, and real-world use of Sanofi therapies.

  • Facilitate peer-to-peer learning between community-based and academic oncologists to optimize Multiple Myeloma treatment pathways.

Stakeholder Influence & Advocacy

  • Build meaningful local advocacy through consistent, credible relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Support regional and national educational programs (e.g., OLAs, learning initiatives, congresses).

  • Maintain a current and accurate territory and account database to inform national planning and execution.

  • Utilize omnichannel and digital tools to enhance customer engagement and drive impactful conversations.

Operational Excellence & Compliance

  • Execute all activities in full alignment with Sanofi’s regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.

  • Maintain timely, accurate CRM documentation, call reporting, expense management, and other administrative requirements.

  • Successfully complete all mandatory training and stewardship of company assets.

  • Participate in national and regional meetings, conferences, and training programs.

About You

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Science, Business, or related field).

  • 5+ years of specialty pharmaceutical sales experience (Oncology or Hematology strongly preferred).

  • Demonstrated track record of high performance in complex, specialist-driven markets.

  • Deep understanding of Hematology/Oncology, including treatment landscapes, patient journeys, and market access.

  • Experience working with institutional accounts, reimbursement processes, and formulary approvals.

  • Willing and able to travel ~60% of the time, including national and occasional international travel.

  • Flexibility for evening and weekend work as required by business needs.

  • Eligibility for company vehicle under Sanofi Fleet Program, with required safety training and acceptable driving record.

This position is eligible for a company car through the Company’s FLEET program.

107,800.00 - 157,800.00

Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefits programs, and additional benefits information can be found through the (CA)LINKOR (US) LINK.
