As Key Account Manager, Hospital & Bio for Sandoz, your main responsibilities will include:
- Apply to analyze and understand the market to understand the context of key accounts;
- Manage the relationships with the main interveners to ensure the necessary control of the critical phases of the hospital's proposals;
- Incorporate business intelligence and strategy on purchasing departments, hospital pharmacies, committee members, concurrencies and hospital consumption;
- Identify the main influencers and conceive a plan of action;
- Performance control of key accounts to ensure delivery of the business plan objectives and implementation of the mitigation/growth plan when necessary;
- Coordinate and mobilize other relevant functions (for example, commercial, financial, supply and medical equipment) to ensure that each account receives adequate support to advance growth opportunities;
- Cooperate in the conception and preparation of the public procurement offer to promote growth and sustainability;
- Serve as a link between clients and company departments;
- Responsible for maintaining long-term relationships with established clients.
- Territory: Lisboa & South of Portugal
What you need to bring to the role:
- University degree in Management, Economics, Marketing or Life Sciences;
- Relevant experience in a commercial area or health sector, including +3ys experience as Key Account Manager for medicines in the Hospital channel.
- Experience in coordinating strategic relationships with clients.
- Excellent consultative selling and strategic account management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, including C-level engagement.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
- Native Portuguese, English highly valuable.
