Your Opportunity as Key Account Manager, Frozen Handhelds, Spreads, & Coffee Sales Team (Wegmans, Price Chopper, & Tops)
You will manage Smucker’s Frozen Handheld, Spreads, & Coffee portfolio at Tops, Price Chopper, and Wegmans. This role is responsible for delivering sales, trade spending, and profit targets for assigned categories and customers while working closely with internal Smucker cross-functional partners.
Location: Work remotely with 200 miles of one of the accounts listed above. (Albany, NY; Buffalo, NY; Rochester, NY)
In this role you will:
- Lead, develop, and coordinate business strategy for your customers
- Achieve annual targets for sales volume, net sales / profit, and market share within trade budget
- Manage trade planning process to ensure accurate spending & timely reconciliation
- Monitor and adjust to competitive, industry, and customer environment
- Develop and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with key customers & internal Smucker cross-functional groups
- Develop and lead Joint Business Planning process with internal Customer Category Business team and key retail customers
- Analyze sales results, promotional events, and assortment gaps to develop plans to drive growth
- Maintain monthly volume forecast with Customer Finance
- Support company climate and culture initiatives

What we are looking for:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) experience
- Experience with sales forecasting/analysis/data base management/financial & budget management
- Self-motivated and has ability to manage and prioritize multiple/diverse priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent oral & written communication skills (negotiation, selling, presentations, etc)
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:
- Experience in CPG customer facing/sales roles
- Grocery Channel experience
- Cross functional experience in category management, trade marketing, sales analysis
- Ability to manage extended work scheduled as needed (approx. 25% travel for market visits) and adhere to company policies & procedures
