Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our key fragrance brand Dolce & Gabbana across the Benelux region. You combine strategic thinking with commercial excellence and know how to translate market opportunities into sustainable business growth.

You will work in a dynamic and international environment where collaboration, entrepreneurship, and results are key. As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing account strategies for our most important retail partners such as Douglas and ICI Paris XL across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.

You build long-term relationships with key stakeholders and proactively identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities. By continuously analyzing market developments, consumer insights, and sales performance, you play a vital role in achieving ambitious growth objectives.

Working closely with colleagues from marketing, trade marketing, supply chain, and product management, you ensure the successful execution of commercial plans, product launches, and promotional initiatives.

What Will You Do?

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for key retailers such as Douglas and ICI Paris XL within the Benelux region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial and operational stakeholders at retail partners.
  • Drive sales growth and achieve commercial targets with your account, Dolce & Gabbana.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to maximize growth potential.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, promotional activities, assortments, and investments.
  • Analyze market developments, competitor activity, and consumer trends within the fragrance category.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and monitor performance against budgets and targets.
  • Identify risks and opportunities through sales analyses and market insights.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure flawless execution of commercial initiatives.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and development of our brands and market position within the Benelux.

You are commercially minded, analytically strong, and know how to build lasting relationships with customers and stakeholders. You are a confident business partner who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by achieving ambitious commercial results.

You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on mentality and take ownership from opportunity identification through to execution and delivery.

What You Bring

  • A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Key Account Management within the fragrance, beauty, or premium consumer goods industry.
  • Native-level Dutch and fluent English language skills; French language skills are considered a strong advantage.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing and growing strategic retail accounts.
  • Strong understanding of retail dynamics and the fragrance market within the Benelux region.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A strategic and entrepreneurial mindset combined with a results-oriented approach.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and market insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Experience with forecasting, budget management, and performance analysis.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the Benelux region.
  • Living no further than 50km from Dordrecht

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
