Job Description

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets for promoted brands through an effective key account management and clinical sales approach.

  • Develop and actively review account plans enabling optimal use of internal and external resources to drive sales uplift.

  • Be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all activities with secondary care health care professionals, including physicians, nurses, pharmacist and procurement as required, across a variety of therapeutic areas.

  • Maintain high level of territory knowledge, including proactively gaining competitor intelligence and insights feeding back any important information to the wider team to maximize opportunities.

  • To understand and remain updated on the HSE environment both at a National level and throughout the local health economy, including funding streams.

  • Effective cross functional working across, marketing, medical, market access, and the wider support functions.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Essential Requirements:

  • To achieve sales targets at a territory level.

  • To develop, review and maintain account plans using all available information and data for your designated region achieving the account plan objectives and actions.

  • Demonstrate full understanding of current marketing strategies and initiatives, through practical implemented outcomes.

  • To establish, maintain and develop strong relationships with customers and local key opinion leaders and to document this via CRM.

  • To actively input and have an overview of portfolio strategy.

  • To keep daily records of customer contacts and share relevant data with colleagues via CRM in agreed timelines.

  • To organise and host clinical promotional sales meetings and implement digital tactics.

  • To provide Sales & Marketing managers with accurate and timely data and market reports in line with agreed deadlines and maintain up to date account plans.

  • To ensure all company expenditure on territory is utilized effectively and accurately monitored within budget and expense forms in line with current T&E, SOP’s and compliance processes.
