About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager (KAM) to lead and grow our business. This role is responsible for developing strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and strategic accounts in the therapeutic area. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in pharmaceutical sales and a strong entrepreneurial mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Key Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with KOLs and key accounts.
  • Identify unique needs, opportunities, and challenges of key customers.
  • Develop and implement account strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Act as the “entrepreneur” for assigned accounts — translating company objectives into actionable territory plans.
  • Oversee sales planning, forecasting, inventory management, and on-ground strategy execution.

Business Development

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop innovative strategies to promote products aligned with company goals.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and business objectives.

Product & Market Expertise

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products and therapeutic areas.
  • Provide accurate and timely product information to KOLs
  • Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
  • Monitor industry trends and market conditions relevant to plasma derived medicinal products

Negotiation & Contract Management

  • Negotiate and renew contracts and agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes with stakeholders.
  • Manage (Tenders, LPO, Lampiran Q), and coordination with distributors and Bumi agents.

Collaboration & Compliance

  • Work closely with marketing, medical, sales, and regulatory teams for seamless coordination.
  • Ensure all activities comply with pharmaceutical regulations and company policies.

Reporting & Insights

  • Prepare regular reports on key account performance, sales forecasts, and market trends.
  • Present business insights and strategic business solution to management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, Biology, Pharmacy, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales or key account management  (Private & Government Key Hospitals)
  • Experience in Hematology, Oncology, or Neurology is an advantage.
  • Strong strategic thinking, planning, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with tender processes, LPO, and Lampiran Q preferred.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry dynamics and compliance standards.
  • Willing to travel outstation as business required
