What You'll Be Doing
- Drive revenue growth and market share in the Maryland market by securing new business and expanding key accounts.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while serving as a liaison across customers, industry associations, and internal operations.
- Develop and execute territory strategies, including pricing, forecasting, and competitive analysis.
- Prepare bids, proposals, and contracts while ensuring alignment with customer needs and company objectives.
- Partner with operations and quality teams to deliver technical support, ensure product performance, and promote safe, compliant practices.
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to grow accounts, influence stakeholders, and deliver measurable sales results in a complex market.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials or aggregate-based products and related market dynamics. Prior sales experience in the industry strongly preferred.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer value.
- Proficiency in using data, technology, and systems to inform decisions, track performance, and optimize sales outcomes.
- Self-directed, collaborative professional who can manage a large territory and navigate technical, logistical, and customer challenges.
Work Environment
- Field-based role supporting customers across a broad Maryland territory, with regular travel required.
- Combination of on-site customer visits, office collaboration, and engagement with production facilities and industry partners.
