What you will do

As an Account Manager at Stryker Mexico, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer value. You will build and nurture strong, multi-level relationships with strategic customers, develop tailored solutions, and influence internal teams to execute high-impact initiatives. This role is ideal for a proactive, strategic thinker with strong leadership by influence, capable of aligning cross-functional teams to accelerate business development and long-term success.

  • Customer & Business Development: Act as the voice of the customer, building trust-based relationships and co-creating customized solutions to drive growth, expand accounts, and increase profitability across commercial divisions.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer needs, ensuring alignment between customer expectations and internal capabilities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations, finance) to deliver customer-centric solutions and execute mutual value projects.
  • Sales & Performance Execution: Lead account planning, forecasting, and pipeline management; track sales targets and qualitative objectives across business units.
  • Strategic Planning & Growth: Design and execute strategies for new business generation and product launches; create account maps to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Market Intelligence & Training: Align marketing initiatives with customer needs and trends; identify development opportunities for customers and stay updated on industry dynamics.
  • Pricing & Product Registration: Manage competitive pricing strategies and coordinate product/surgical protocol registration with payers, marketing, and regulatory teams.
  • Operations & Compliance: Ensure inventory alignment with sales forecasts, anticipate demand changes, and strictly adhere to all legal, ethical, and compliance standards including FCPA.

What you need

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development.
  • Proven experience in managing Key accounts in the private sector.
  • Proven ability to build strategic relationships and influence across functions and organizational levels.
  • Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English.
  • Proven experience in the medical device industry.

Desired:

  • Experience in a matrixed, multinational environment.

Travel Percentage: 50%
