Corinth Veterinary Clinic is seeking a dependable, animal-loving Kennel Assistant to join our team! This role focuses on the care of boarding pets—ensuring their comfort, safety, and cleanliness during their stay. Compensation**
- $16-$17 per hour for each hour worked*
Schedule:
- Weekday shifts, rotating weekends, alternating holidays mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive care to boarding dogs and cats
- Feed, walk, and monitor pets for health and behavior changes
- Clean kennels and hospital areas as needed
- Maintain a safe and sanitary environment
- Work independently and responsibly
Minimum Qualifications & Skillset:
- 1+ years of experience as a veterinary kennel assistant / kennel technician preferred
- Will consider related experience within animal care such as boarding / doggy daycare attendant, FFA or 4H background
- Punctual and reliable
- Desire for knowledge & growth in the veterinary field
- Willing to work holidays and weekends
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
