An organization dedicated to helping K-12 students build social and emotional skills is hiring a Sales Director to build and lead its new-business acquisition engine. You'll hire, coach, and scale a growing team of Account Executives and Inside Sales Representatives focused solely on new-logo growth. We're looking for a sales leader who develops reps into top performers, builds genuine trust with a team, and can design a repeatable new-business strategy from the ground up. The right person leads with relationships first, pairs real mission alignment with a competitive drive to hit revenue targets, and brings executive-level presence to conversations with district and school leaders.
If you have…
- 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with current or recent experience in K-12 EdTech selling supplemental curriculum
- 5+ years of scaling sales teams and designing sales process from the ground up
- Deep understanding of K-12 buying cycles: funding availability, state policy, RFP/procurement processes, and long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles at the district and school level
- A track record of improving pipeline coverage, win rates, forecast accuracy, and average deal size
- Ability to travel up to 50% for district visits, conferences, and periodic meetings
- Bachelor's degree
