While we support flexible, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role we’re focusing on Bangkok, Thailand so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.

This role is a 12-month engagement, working full-time hours.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment this role is focussed on: 

  • Guiding school and district IT teams through platform onboarding and SSO configuration across Google Workspace for Education and Microsoft 365 environments.

  • Owning the district engagement lifecycle – from strategy, prospecting, and onboarding to ongoing adoption and impact measurement.

  • Fostering relationships with Thai education stakeholders (school system administrators, IT teams, curriculum leaders) to support seamless Canva integration.

  • Acting as an ambassador of Canva for Education, guiding teachers and educators in using the platform effectively.

  • Providing strategic support to school leaders, helping them leverage Canva for curriculum design, student collaboration, and professional development.

  • Analysing adoption metrics and usage trends to identify new engagement strategies and optimize customer experience.

  • Championing Canva’s brand at education events, conferences, and workshops, advocating for creative learning with digital tools.

  • Working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to enhance Canva’s K-12 education offerings.

You're probably a match if

  • You have experience with the Thai Education Market. You understand classroom efficiency solutions and are able to communicate with Instructional Technology Specialists and teachers on how Canva can improve student learning outcomes through design and collaboration.

  • You have customer success expertise. You are comfortable driving retention and fostering engagement with software solutions at a school system level.

  • You have excellent collaboration skills. You enjoy working alongside your direct team as well as with cross-functional teams.

  • You have experience with implementing new technologies. You have a deep understanding of how schools roll out new technologies and how system-wide deployments are most effective. You're comfortable working alongside school IT teams to navigate platform setup, including Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration through identity providers like Google Workspace for Education and Microsoft 365. You don't need to be a technical specialist, but you know enough to guide the process, unblock issues, and connect the right people.

  • You have effective communication skills. You create clarity through your communication by making complex things simple. You can confidently present your ideas and tell a compelling story to customers and the broader team.

  • You have strong business planning skills. You have the ability to move from planning all the way through to implementation and complete projects that deliver high impact.

  • You have experience in Community Management. You understand social media standard processes and tactics for educating audiences.

About the team

The K-12 Education Sales team is at the forefront of Canva’s expansion into schools and educational institutions. Our mission is to support teachers, school administrators, and system leaders in leveraging Canva for Education to transform learning.

As a Technical Support Specialist for Thailand, you will collaborate with the Ministry of Education, OBEC, OPEC and other Thai school systems, IT departments, curriculum leads, and education influencers to ensure widespread adoption of Canva’s tools. You will work closely with school and district IT administrators to support platform onboarding, including guiding Single Sign-On (SSO) setup through identity providers such as Google Workspace for Education and Microsoft 365, ensuring smooth, scalable deployments across school systems.
