We are growing our K-12 Team and are looking for a strategic sales leader to help expand one of our most important business segments. As the K-12 Account Sales Manager, you will drive growth across your region, build lasting partnerships with key customers and distributors, and help shape the long-term strategy for our K-12 business. This is a remote, home-based position ideally located in the Dallas, Texas area and requires 50–60% travel.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and execute regional K-12 growth strategies aligned with business priorities.
- Partner with senior leadership to establish operating plans, sales targets, pricing, and commodity strategies.
- Identify market trends, customer opportunities, competitive activity, and regulatory changes to shape business strategy.
- Drive profitable growth through strategic pricing, bid execution, expanded distribution, and product placement.
- Build and strengthen executive-level relationships with Tier 1 school districts, co-ops, regional buying groups, and distributor partners.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with Sales, Marketing, Category Management, Commodity, and Operations to deliver business results.
- Manage customer investments, trade spending, and T&E budgets to maximize ROI.
- Represent the company at customer events, industry conferences, and State School Nutrition Association meetings while expanding market presence.
- Champion alignment and execution of enterprise K-12 priorities across regions.
What We Look For:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 10+ years of progressive sales experience in foodservice, K-12, or food manufacturing.
- Deep knowledge of the K-12 segment, including commodities, processing, and competitive bid strategies.
- Proven success developing customer growth strategies and leading cross-functional initiatives that deliver measurable business results.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in forecasting, pricing, and profitability management.
- Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
What We Offer:
The base salary range for this position is $107,000 to $178,000 annually with eligibility for a 25% annual incentive bonus that is based on organizational performance and car allowance. The range reflects factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and location, and starting salary may fall anywhere within the stated range.
