Responsibilities
- Website Development & Maintenance
- Build and update web pages using WordPress and Elementor
- Customize themes and templates based on design specs
- Assist with content updates, bug fixes, and layout adjustments
- Support localization efforts using WPML or similar tools
- Code & Collaboration
- Write clean and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Follow version control workflows (Git) and contribute to the staging process
- Work closely with design and content teams to translate mockups into functional pages
- Assist in QA testing across browsers, devices, and regions
- Performance & SEO Support
- Follow best practices for responsiveness, accessibility, and page speed
- Apply SEO-friendly markup and semantic structure when building pages
- Flag potential performance or UX issues for improvement
- Support the SEO team by uploading or updating content and implementing code changes as needed.
- Team Communication
- Communicate clearly on task progress and blockers
- Take part in sprint discussions, reviews, and retrospectives
- Actively seek opportunities to grow and improve
Requirements and Skills
- 1–2 years of experience working with WordPress (agency or product environment preferred)
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
- Familiarity with Elementor or other WordPress page builders
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Some experience with Git and working in a team development setup
- Bonus: Experience with WPML and custom post types
- Bonus: Exposure to site speed tools or SEO plugins like Yoast or RankMath
