Job DescriptionUbisoft is looking for a Junior QC Specialist to join our UX Requirements Team in Kyiv. You will operate across multiple gaming platforms, support production teams in resolving bugs, and play a key role in implementing user experience-related features.
Please note, that position is office-based in Kyiv.
QualificationsResponsibilities
- Execute epilepsy, sound, and input lag tests, using dedicated software and hardware, and verify that all Ubisoft titles are compliant with the guidelines;
- Operate multiple platforms (PC, Luna, X1, PS4, XsX, PS5, NX);
- Support production teams in fixing bugs and implementing UXR related features of the game;
- Investigate, reproduce, report and track UXR issues on the projects
- Manage projects following established team actions and processes (planning and coordinating tests, raising project risks, ensuring proper test coverage);
- Work closely with the team and different project stakeholders (production, QC etc.) providing them with relevant feedback on the project status and quality, providing visibility, and obtaining required information;
- Create various documentation and reports based on the project needs.
Job requirements:
- Strong motivation to work and develop in the video game industry;
- Upper intermediate level of English or higher (spoken and written);
- Good knowledge and understanding of testing theory
- Strong interest in, and genuine passion for video games
- Good knowledge of PC and console hardware
- Good troubleshooting skills;
- Solid understanding of gated project management workflows;
- Experience working with issue and project tracking systems (for example: JIRA);
- Strong communication (ability to develop and sustain a professional network) and problem-solving skills;
