NRS builds the point-of-sale system that runs thousands of independent retailers across the US, the tablet on the counter, the app in the back office, and the tools that keep a corner store profitable.
We're looking for a product designer to own the POS side and portal of that: the screens a cashier touches a thousand times a day, where a half-second of friction costs real money.
What the job involves:
Join the direction and design language of our POS.
Build a deep understanding and partner with a cross-functional team of PMs, engineers, POs, and operations to execute on our product roadmap.
Get constant and quick feedback from stakeholders and iterate quickly.
Think holistically across all NRS products' touch points and help create a cohesive customer journey grounded in user research and analytics.
Grow and maintain our cross-platform, cross-functional design system.
Who you are:
2+ years of experience in product design.
Expertise in designing and prototyping in Figma.
High bar for quality, with excellent visual, UI and mobile interaction skills.
Service design mindset, framing problems in the context of our UX strategy while executing at low levels of detail.
You always create clickable prototypes while discussing your UX solutions.
Great English communication (minimum B2) and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, LottieFiles, or similar.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
Excellent presentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into compelling design solutions.
Proven ability to create micro interactions, UX gamification and business understanding in the past worked projects.
Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
We are pleased to offer:
Hybrid work opportunity!
Modern office with free parking in the very center of Minsk.
An exciting and challenging job with talented people around.
Competitive salary and growth opportunities.
Really good hardware.
26 vacation days & 5 fully covered sick days without sick leave required per year.
Compensation for professional training, seminars, and conferences.
Sports activities reimbursement and loyalty program.
Medical insurance.
