Role Overview
The Junior Treasury & Payments Analyst will support the day-to-day treasury operations of the company with a primary focus on payments, bank account administration, cash positioning, treasury controls, and banking connectivity. This role is critical to ensuring timely and accurate movement of funds while maintaining strong internal controls and regulatory compliance.
This position serves as an excellent entry point into corporate treasury and provides exposure to global banking operations, payment technologies, cash management, and treasury systems.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Cash Management
Prepare daily global cash position reports.
Monitor bank balances and liquidity availability.
Assist with short-term cash funding activities.
Track cash movements across global accounts.
Support intercompany funding and settlement activities.
Payments & Treasury Operations
Process and release wire transfers and other treasury payments in accordance with company policies.
Monitor payment queues and banking portals.
Investigate payment exceptions and returned transactions.
Coordinate payment approvals and supporting documentation.
Assist with payment fraud prevention and control procedures.
Bank Account Administration
Support opening, closing, and maintenance of global bank accounts.
Coordinate bank mandate updates and signatory changes.
Manage KYC documentation requests.
Maintain treasury banking records and documentation repositories.
Assist with electronic banking user administration.
Treasury Controls & Compliance
Ensure compliance with payment approval policies.
Support audit requests and treasury documentation reviews.
Maintain treasury operational procedures.
Assist with SOX and internal control activities.
Escalate unusual transactions or potential control concerns.
Treasury Systems & Reporting
Support administration of treasury platforms and banking portals.
Assist with bank connectivity troubleshooting.
Prepare operational treasury reports and metrics.
Participate in treasury automation initiatives.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
