In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire a Junior Treasurer/Accountant.
Position Summary
A Junior Treasurer/Accountant plays a crucial role in managing the financial assets and liquidity of the company. Is responsible for supporting the management of the company’s financial resources and ensuring efficient cash flow.
Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities- Implement treasury policies and procedures
- Monitors and observes the periodic treasury needs
- Processing treasury payments and archiving related documentation
- Book-keeping of all types of payments using the group’s accounting software package
- Reconciling bank statements
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies with cash/checks transactions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in treasury, accounting or finance role will be considered a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications and particularly MS Excel will be considered a plus
- Attention to detail
- Identify operational gaps and propose improvements that enhance internal efficiency.
