Junior CI Test Engineer
We are looking for an energetic person to join our Operations team, which is working in the Continuous Integration (CI) area. As part of a multicultural CI/Maintenance support team, you will have opportunities to participate in creating new IT solutions and services. You will learn the full implementation life cycle and develop the way of working towards CI/DevOps.
Our team operates in the telecommunications sector and is responsible for installation, configuration, and maintenance tasks. Troubleshooting, innovation, and knowledge sharing are also part of our daily work.
Tasks:
- CI flow monitoring and support
- Hardware surveillance and recovery
- Hardware validation and configuration
- Verification reporting
- Claim monitoring
- CI support for customers
- Infrastructure projects, e.g., Citrix and RHEL
- CI support for customers
Requirements:
- Basic experience with Bash, Python, or other scripting languages
- Practical experience in working with Linux OS
- Experience with remote management of environments and hardware (e.g., SSH, Telnet)
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP and communication infrastructure
- Strong troubleshooting skills or a predisposition for it
- Flexible and responsible personality with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- High communication skills, stress resistance, quick response, assertiveness, and good cooperation in international teams
- Good communication skills in English
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of agile processes and practices
- Experience with CI tools (Continuous Integration systems)
- Basic knowledge of mobile network systems (4G/5G)
- Experience with Git, Gerrit, Jenkins
- Interest and understanding of container technologies, virtualization
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and experience
- Experience with Jira
