Role Summary
As a Junior Test Automation Engineer, you will help improve the quality and reliability of our Digital Commerce platforms by developing and maintaining automated tests using modern technologies such as Playwright.
You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, product owners, and other engineering teams while building your technical skills in automation, software development, CI/CD, and modern quality engineering practices.
What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright for web applications and key user journeys.
Create and update automated regression, smoke, functional, and cross-browser tests.
Build reusable test components, page objects, fixtures, and test data with guidance from senior engineers.
Support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
Execute automated and manual testing as needed during sprint and release cycles.
Analyze test failures, investigate defects, and work with developers and QA engineers to resolve issues.
Follow automation standards, coding best practices, and established test framework guidelines.
Maintain test documentation, results, and defect information.
Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, product owners, and other team members in an Agile environment.

What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test automation.
Hands-on experience with Playwright or a similar web automation tool.
Basic to intermediate programming experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, Python, or a similar language.
Understanding of automated testing concepts, page objects, reusable components, and maintainable test design.
Familiarity with Git, pull requests, source control, and basic CI/CD concepts.
Basic knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar development and delivery platforms.
Understanding of functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
Good troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development practices.
